Dr. Yunlong Liu | Disease | Best Researcher Award
Lecturer at Tiangong university, China
Yunlong Liu is a Lecturer in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology at Tiangong University, where he also supervises Master’s students. Born in Chengde, Hebei Province in 1995, he completed his Ph.D. at China Agricultural University in 2023. His doctoral research focused on structural biology, particularly the molecular mechanisms of transcriptional regulation by nuclear receptors and transcription factors. Throughout his academic career, Liu has made significant contributions to the field of molecular biology, particularly in understanding protein-DNA interactions and transcriptional control. His work has led to the determination of seven crystal structures and the identification of potent nuclear receptor inhibitors. Liu has published as the sole first author in Nucleic Acids Research and co-authored papers in high-impact journals such as Cell Discovery and the Journal of Biological Chemistry. He has received numerous accolades, including the National Ph.D. Scholarship and Outstanding Doctoral Dissertation Award.
