Dr. Asnakew Mulaw earned his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) from the University of Gondar (2012–2018), where he graduated with distinction and multiple academic recognitions. Currently, he serves as a Lecturer and Researcher at the University of Gondar (2018–present), teaching undergraduates and postgraduates while leading projects in avian medicine, livestock production, and zoonotic disease surveillance. As a Farm Veterinarian and Animal Health Expert, he advises on poultry, dairy cattle, and sheep health management and artificial insemination. His prior roles include internships and research positions at the African Union PANVAC, Amhara Veterinary Laboratory, and the National Animal Health Diagnostic Center, focusing on vaccine development and diagnostics.
